rockett is an Assistant Federal Public Defender for the District of Delaware. He has represented clients in federal, district and appellate courts.

In law school, Mr. Crockett was a member of the National Moot Court Team, the Order of Barristers, and the Black Law Student Association. Upon graduation, Mr. Crockett served as a law clerk for the Sussex County Superior Court in Georgetown, Delaware. He then clerked for the Hon. W. Craig Broadwater for the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. In 2005, after a brief stint in private practice, Mr. Crockett joined the Federal Public Defender's Office for the Northern District of West Virginia. In November 2008, Mr. Crockett joined the Federal Public Defender's Office for the District of Delaware.
