arper is a Research and Writing Attorney for the Federal Public Defender's Office.  In this capacity, Ms. Harper focuses on appellate issues before the Third Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court.

Ms. Harper was the Lead Notes and Casenotes Editor for the Rutgers Law Journal, served as president of the Black Law Students Association and externed for the Honorable Theodore S. McKee, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Ms. Harper also received the top writing award in the American Bar Association and Recording Academy's Entertainment Law Initiative Competition, won regional and national moot court honors and received a pro bono award for outstanding service.

Upon graduation, Ms. Harper clerked for the Honorable Rochelle S. Friedman of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, where she focused on state appellate issues. Ms. Harper then joined a prominent Philadelphia law firm, where she concentrated her practice on labor and employment discrimination, securities fraud litigation and complex commercial litigation.
